Survey Flexibility
The range of question types and added patient survey functionality currently available with ViewPoint RCS:
• Multiple selection - pick one only
• Multiple selection - pick all that apply
• Free text/open ended - an on screen keyboard for capturing the actual comments of your patients
• Tabular - up to 8 rated questions may be displayed on the same screen. Ideal for longer surveys
• Routed questions - multiple and complex routing to contain multiple questionnaires within a single survey
• Demographic Questions – Ensure you are engaging with you whole community
• Images as buttons – Use graphics to represent answers to engage with children
• Question Randomisation – Randomise the order of questions to reduce colouration of results
• Scaled responses – use 3 to 10 point scales to measure patient satisfaction
• Information Screen – provide your patients with information as to the changes you have made to your services as a result of patient feedback

Technically, there is no limit to the number of questions for any one patient survey. However, consideration should be given so that the length of the survey is appropriate to the situation. CRT can advise on these matters.
ViewPoint RCS software allows you to ask patients a range of questions to measure satisfaction across your services, as well as supporting a level of demographical insight such as age, gender and ethnic grouping. CRT can advise on how to optimise patient participation so that the best possible survey response rates and accuracy are achieved.
